THE STORY
A well-loved 356B, made right
What came in: This 1960 356B came to us from a gentleman in Miami. The car was bought from California, where the same owner had it for 25 years. He was a Porsche mechanic, so it had been very well taken care of.
What we found: Overall the car was in good condition. It needed attention to some damage on the left front and a better fit on the left door.
What we did: Along with a full repaint, we repaired the left front, improved the fit of the left door, and took care of the details along the way.

Step by step
STEP 1
Stripping the paint
The old finish comes off so the body can be checked and repaired properly.
STEP 2
Bodywork
Damage on the left front is repaired and the panels are prepped in bare metal.
STEP 3
Fresh paint
The body goes into fresh paint.
STEP 4
Reassembly
Trim, glass and details go back on, with the left door fitted properly.
